Privacy Policy

DocRisk AI collects minimal information necessary to provide the service:

• Device identifier: A randomly generated anonymous ID used only for rate-limiting (preventing abuse). This ID is not linked to your identity.
• Selected language and country: Used only to generate analysis in your preferred language and with relevant country context.
• Document files: Images or PDF files you upload are transmitted to our backend for analysis only. They are never stored permanently.
• Usage data: Anonymous analytics such as daily analysis count, stored locally on your device only.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personally identifiable information unless you contact us directly.

The information we collect is used solely for:

• Providing AI-powered document analysis results
• Enforcing daily usage limits for free users
• Preventing abuse of the service
• Improving the quality of analysis over time

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.

We strongly recommend not uploading documents containing sensitive information such as passwords, full bank account numbers, or highly sensitive medical records unless necessary for your analysis.

Document analysis results may be stored locally on your device if you are a Premium or Pro subscriber, to enable analysis history. This data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

DocRisk AI uses the following third-party services:

• Google Gemini API: Used for AI document analysis. Documents are transmitted to Google's servers for processing. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy
• RevenueCat: Used for managing in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat processes payment and subscription information. Their privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy
• Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements to free users. AdMob may collect device identifiers for ad personalization. Google's privacy policy applies.
• Render: Our backend is hosted on Render. Render's infrastructure processes documents in transit.

• Documents: Never stored — discarded immediately after analysis
• Device ID: Stored locally on your device until the app is uninstalled
• Analysis history: Stored locally on your device (Premium/Pro only). You can delete it at any time from within the app.
• Subscription data: Managed by RevenueCat and retained per their policy

DocRisk AI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

• Right to access: You can request information about what data we hold about you
• Right to deletion: You can request deletion of your data by uninstalling the app (removes local data) or contacting us
• Right to opt out: You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings
• GDPR rights (EU users): EU residents have additional rights under GDPR including data portability and the right to object to processing

We take reasonable measures to protect your information:

• All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
• Documents are processed in memory and never written to disk
• Our backend uses industry-standard security practices

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
